Before you paste these everywhere
  • These aren’t fonts — they’re special Unicode characters (mostly from the Math Alphanumeric Symbols block). That’s why they survive pasting into Instagram, X, Discord, or any plain-text field.
  • Rendering depends on the viewer’s device. Most modern platforms show every style, but a few older systems display boxes (□) for the rarer blocks like Squared or Bold Script.
  • Screen-reader caveat: assistive tech reads these characters letter-by-letter (“mathematical bold capital H…”) or skips them entirely. Avoid styled text for anything essential — bios and decoration are fine, critical information is not.
  • Styles without digits in their Unicode block (Italic, Script, Fraktur…) leave numbers unchanged — that’s Unicode, not a bug.

Fancy Font Generator — 114 Styles, Free and Browser-Based

Type your text and instantly see it in 114 styles — 𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗱, 𝓈𝒸𝓇𝒾𝓅𝓉, 𝔣𝔯𝔞𝔨𝔱𝔲𝔯, ⓒⓘⓡⓒⓛⓔⓓ, S̶t̶r̶u̶c̶k̶, ꧁༺framed༻꧂, uʍop ǝpᴉsdn and more, grouped into seven families so you can find the look instead of scrolling past it. These are real Unicode characters, not fonts, so they survive pasting into bios, posts, and usernames. Everything renders locally — nothing you type leaves your device.

Use Cases

Style an Instagram or TikTok bio so it stands out from the default font
Make a bold or script username for X, Discord, or a gaming handle

Create vaporwave aesthetic captions with fullwidth characters
Decorate stream titles and YouTube video names with circled or squared letters

How to make fancy text with Unicode fonts

1
Type your text

Enter a name, bio line, or message in the input box. All 114 styles update live as you type.

2
Narrow it down

Filter by family — Unicode alphabets, enclosed, lookalike, case and order, overlays, separators, decorated frames — or type into the search box to jump straight to bold, glitch, heart, or any style by name.

3
Copy a style

Click Copy on the row you want. The exact Unicode characters land in your clipboard — no images, no formatting tags.

4
Paste anywhere

Paste into Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, Discord, or any plain-text field. The styling travels with the characters themselves.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The character mapping runs entirely in your browser with a lookup table — nothing you type is sent to a server.
How does this work without installing fonts?
Unicode includes whole alphabets of styled letters — the Math Alphanumeric Symbols block has bold, italic, script, fraktur, double-struck, and monospace variants of A–Z. This tool maps each character you type to its styled twin, so the "font" is baked into the text itself.
Why do numbers stay normal in some styles?
Unicode only includes digits for some blocks (bold, double-struck, monospace, sans-serif bold, circled). Styles like italic, script, and fraktur have no digit variants, so numbers pass through unchanged.
Will these characters show up everywhere?
It depends on the family. Unicode alphabets, lookalikes, case changes and separators render essentially everywhere. Enclosed blocks and stacked combining marks are the ones that can show boxes (□) or render inconsistently on older systems — the tool groups styles by family precisely so you know which bucket you are picking from. Test where you plan to post.
Are fancy fonts bad for accessibility?
They can be. Screen readers spell math-alphanumeric characters out letter-by-letter ("mathematical bold capital H…") or skip them, so use styled text for decoration — usernames and bios — not for information people must not miss. The Case & order family is the safe exception: it changes no characters at all, so it reads normally.
Does upside-down text really flip my message?
It maps each letter to a visually flipped Unicode look-alike and reverses the order, so it reads correctly when rotated 180°. A few letters have no perfect flip and use the closest match.

Which Unicode text styles work where

Every style this tool outputs comes from a specific Unicode block, and platform support depends on the block — not on the app you paste into. Older blocks render almost everywhere; blocks added later (or repurposed ones like Squared) are spottier on legacy systems.

Private by design. Text styling is a local Unicode lookup in your browser — nothing you type is sent to a server.
